Reproductive freedom is one of the most important and basic human rights. But for many people, birth control costs are prohibitively high, even if they have insurance.

That's why the Institute of Medicine issued a report to the HHS earlier this month recommending that birth control be considered preventive health care, and should be provided by insurance companies with no co-pay. If the HHS follows this recommendation, their August 1st decision would be an incredibly step forward for reproductive health care, and oral contraceptives, IUDs, and even sterilization would be available to insurance holders at zero cost. Tell Dept. of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius that reproductive health care MUST be covered under all insurance plans!
