About this Petition Petition Letter

Fourteen states, to date, have compassionately elected to allow marijuana for medical use.  In Kansas, it is a Felony to sell any amount of marijuana to anyone.  In addition, you get another Felony if you did not pay taxes on the marijuana.  To top it off, Felons are not allowed federal aid for higher education.  Why are we worried about pot heads and people who actually NEED the cannabinoids to ease suffering to subdue effects of their disease?  When is the last time you heard of someone dying from marijuana?  How about a car wreck caused by someone who was high on marijuana?  Did you know Thomas Jefferson was an avid pot smoker?

Tell your elected officials that we demand the Kansas Medical Marijuana Act be passed.
