For fan's of the television hit show Glee, it's no secret that one of the main characters, Rachel, has two gay dads. They were mentioned in the first episode, and have continued to be a recurring part of Glee's story arc over the course of the past season.

There's just one problem: while we know that two wonderful gay dads exist, Glee has never actually cast anyone to portray the two dads.

Given how gay-friendly the show is, and how it's not afraid to show characters of all stripes and walks of life, what gives with keeping the gay dads in the closet? Tell the writers and producers of Glee that it's time to give the invisible gay dads some screen time.

Let's See Glee's Gay Dads

Greetings,

During the first episode of Glee, the world was introduced to the fact that one of the main characters, Rachel, has two gay dads. Yet, a whole season and a half later, those two gay dads have remained invisible, while nearly every other character on the show has had their parents or family on screen. What gives?

Glee is one of the most gay-friendly shows on television, and could send a fantastic message about gay parenting. Yet, as long as those two gay dads remain in the closet, that message is lost, and it continues to look weird that while gay dads can be mentioned, they exist in name only.

As you break for the summer and start planning the next season of Glee, let's see two characters cast as Glee's gay fathers.
