The fight for the DC Food Trucks has entered its most critical stage and we need your help now. Thanks to you, over the past few weeks the DC Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (DCRA) have received the most number of comments they've ever had on a public issue in support of the food trucks!
Now, the campaign moves into its final stage and we must all convince City Council members to support Title 24 Chapter 5-new rules currently under consideration that will help save the Food Trucks.
Food trucks provide District residents with quality, local and interesting food and they are in serious jeopardy of being pushed out of the city by powerful interests who fear healthy competition.
Title 24 Chapter 5 will:
1. Keep food trucks in business
2. Maintain the consumers' quality of life
3. Bring a different and exciting new food culture to DC
We have a few short weeks to do all we can to convince the City Council to allow Food Trucks to stay in DC and continue to serve delicious food.
Please add your voice, share with friends and most importantly continue to support the DC Food Trucks by enjoying their delicious food...often!

Please Don't Restrict Food Trucks in Washington, DC
Dear City Council Member
I am writing in support of the current proposed DCRA regulation Title 24 Chapter 5 that will allow mobile vendors to stay in DC and continue offering more choices and value to consumers.
Over the past few weeks DCRA has received the most number of comments they’ve ever had on a public issue in support of the food trucks!
We are asking you to support Title 24 Chapter 5 and to ensure that no discriminatory language is introduced into these regulations that would limit mobile vendors or food trucks.
Title 24 Chapter 5 will:
-Keep food trucks in business
-Maintain the consumers’ quality of life
-Bring a different and exciting new food culture to DC
Food trucks have changed the way District residents eat and they are wildly popular. Please support the passage of the regulations as written and protect the diverse, growing and small business vending options in the city.
Thank you,
