We all know that Trader Joe's has delicious, nutritious and affordable food. Who amongst us doesn't enjoy taking a leisurely stroll through the aisles of a TJ's on a Saturday afternoon to pick-up some high-quality staples for the pantry? Whether it's their creamy hummus, fresh produce, affordable freeze-packed fish options or $3 Buck Chuck, TJ's has it all.

As 14th Street continues to expand, develop and thrive, a Trader Joe's store at 14th and U would mean more access to affordable and high-quality food options for the residents of Logan Circle, Columbia Heights and Mount Pleasant. No longer will we have the schlep to the Whole Foods to overpay for our daily bread.

We, your loving and loyal customers, respectfully request that you join us at 14th and U. We're ready and waiting.

P.S. Please make sure to bring those chocolate covered espresso beans. Oh, so delicious.
