Because it is just plain unnecessary to use real fur on any type clothing, or footwear. It means that these coyotes were most likely caught in traps, which are inhumane as classified by the American Veterinary Medical Association. They also present danger to our own domestic animals who get caught in them. The excuse being used for coyote ruffs on extreme cold weather jackets is that it is incredibly warm and can prevent frostbite on the face. The average person buying a parka is not going to be in arctic like conditions, and there are other options for warmth other than animal fur. The coyotes are out 24/7 and need their coats for warmth - we do not!
Stop using coyote fur on their men's and women's Arctic Parka
Greetings,
I just signed the following petition addressed to: Woolrich.
