Corporate Donation Transparency!

Corporate Donation Transparency!

The Issue

2012.07.30 ~ 119 people signed the previous version

In light of the recent revelations about Chick-fil-A's official stance on gay issues (and, more importantly, its donations to many anti-gay organizations, including hate groups), more transparency is necessary for their customers to be able to choose between patronizing it or eating elsewhere.

Restaurants and other establishments are always publicizing their donations to worthy causes, but what if they were required to seek the approval of their shareholders (if any) and customers before making donations to such highly questionable organizations?

No matter what you believe regarding a specific issue, I believe you should know if your money is going toward a cause you don't support.
