Greetings,
I just signed the following petition addressed to: Columbia University of New York.
----------------
Dear Dean Takamura;
Columbia University does not have the right to force 400 graduating students of the department of social work to violate the ethical standards set by the protocols of social work by participating in a human experiment without proper permission of the individual being researched holding the threat of not graduating if they did not violate their personal and professional ethics and violating the American Disabilities Act in the process when you were asked to change the project to lesson the harm.
The objective to meet your diversity goal by purposely choosing a Native American Woman Veteran to be the subject of the experiment taking this violation of 500 years to this present time. Showing no concern for lessoning the harm of an Iraq veteran is a demonstration of what the future may hold for other veterans as they attempt to adjust to civillian life. This action must be stopped immediately and accountability for this action is the reason for this petition.
This violation is now public information to inform future students considering participating in this institution that does not practice the ethical standards it teaches.
