There are several stores near freeways that are at higher risk of being robbed. Although employees keep cash amounts below $40 the thought of being robbed is infallibly on their minds. The only measure being implemented in the California region is the low cash balances. However, many employees would enjoy the security of having additional measures implemented to keep them safe. Many other companies have hidden alarms, glass casings, or even a side window where transactions occur. Although the removal of a bullet-proof glass casing was aesthetically pleasing it was also one less safety measure for the employees working there.
