All married couples should receive the same rights regardless of who they are married to. The Respect for Marriage Act will allow all rights to be fulfilled to all legally married couples without discriminating against anyone.  As a married lesbian, I have personally encountered discrimination because our state of residence does not recognize our marriage and neither does the Federal Government. Times have changed and everyone's rights should as well to improve the quality of life of every individual that resides in this so called "Free Country".
Please, support the Respect for Marriage Act and allow every individual as they wish as long as they follow the law. Do not penalize certain people for who they love and wish to marry. Update the law, come with the times and Support The Respect For Marriage Act!
