Cannabis, WOD and The Upside of Down

This petition is <b>Anti-Prohibition</b> but from a very different angle.
It is a petition asking our Legislators and President to seriously consider the vital aspects itemized herein with respect to the issue of <b>RE-legalization of Cannabis species.</b>

This petition clarifies a number of benefits to society when it comes to the ramifications of the War on Drugs (WOD) with respect to Cannabis species.
It also points out some of the major POTENTIAL pitfalls of poorly designed RE-legalization legislations.
These dangers have nothing to do with the so-called "dangers" of the so-called "drug", Marijuana, AKA Herb<b>(2)</b>.
This is not to deny or ignore the colossal drawbacks of the WOD nor to support it in any way.


<b>1.</b> Because of the WOD, none of the Cannabis species are being mass produced in the USA by Multi-National Corporations (<b>MNC</b>s) using dangerous and destructive Methods of Industrial Agricultural, <b>MIA</b>s<b>(3)</b>.

<b>A.</b> Because of the WOD, there are no Big Agro Hemp or Herb production fields in the USA whereby guerilla gardeners of Herb are at risk of having their high quality medicinal Seed Stock contaminated by cross-pollination with Hemp or GM crops.
This is a benefit because it preserves thousands of years of breeding to separate the individual and very different characteristics of Hemp and Herb species.
Humankind and Cannabis species have enjoyed and mutually benefitted from a SYMBIOTIC relationship ever since we recognized each other, probably even before humans began agricultural practices, meaning pre-historic in other words.

<b>B.</b> Hemp varieties cannot be mass produced in the USA for the questionable purpose of Bio-fuel<b>(4)</b> production since Hemp is lumped with Herb as a result of the inconsistencies of WOD policies and ideologies.
Therefore, Hemp's illegality creates more incentive for Wind and Solar power and other truly sustainable methods for generating electricity, as well as more incentive to reinstate Electric Car production and to start up production of High Speed Electric Bullet Trains so we can gradually eradicate our "needs" for cumbustion fuels.

<b>C.</b> MNCs cannot Monopolize the production, distribution, sales of HERB in the USA as long as it is verboten<b>(5)</b> by the WOD, tho Big Pharma does produce Marinol and has full monopolistic control of it in the market until the patent runs out.
But we do not want Marinol and most of us cannot afford it even if we were interested in it.
We know that Marinol is just another corporate product full of MIAs in the figurative sense.

<b>2.</b> Those who are conducting the WOD are more likely to die sooner of various diseases like cancer and of
Allopathic<b>(6)</b> Practices with Pharmaceutical Drugs of all kinds, including and especially Chemo and Radiation therapies, ... more likely than increasing numbers of us who cannot afford Allopathic Health Care.
Those who are spreading lies are further at risk because lying sets up a field of dis-integrity in the body, a war within the body that makes people sick. (See "Molecules of Emotion" by Dr. Candice Pert, MD.)
It does not matter whether or not they believe their own lies (classic denial, AKA lying to oneself) because the body is part of the Web of Life and is more intelligent than the EGO mind when it comes to perceiving this kind of truth.
I use the term "lies" because these people are not able and/or willing to have rational discussions about this issue, not able to look at any of the scientific info widely available on the internet, blocking out all relevant and vital info.
This constitutes DENIAL of reality, and therefore one kind of self-deception or another, forms of "terminal stupidity" (logical extension of Jim Hightower's terminology).

<b>3.</b> As a result of attempts to protest its Prohibition, a lot more Scientific Research is being done on Marijuana, revealing new medicinal uses as well as reinforcing old medicinal uses and more facts about Marijuana are being spread around -- which means that we are approaching a Paradigm Shift (Critical Mass) with increasing speed.
In the case of Paradigm Shifts, Polarization<b>(7)</b> becomes continually more extreme as we get closer to Critical Mass and this Polarization is enhanced by Prohibition.
Therefore, those who are conducting the WOD are committing figurative "Suicide" (enhancing the approach to Critical Mass) because their trickery is being revealed at an accelerating pace.
This is because, with each atrocity committed in the name of or in reaction against the WOD, it is becoming ever more evident that the WOD is truly a War Of Terror (<b>WOT!?!</b>), a War Against People, (<b>WAP!!!!</b>).
The increasing numbers of people in prison and the increasing severity of their punishments are testimony to this escalation, AKA increasing Polarization on the Pro-Prohibition side.
The increase of Scientific studies and growing popularity of the movement are testimony to increasing Porization on the Anti-Prohibition side.

<b>(2) Herb</b> is probably the best term for medicinal Cannabis species, a TRUE TO LIFE picture worth thousands of words.

<b>(3)</b> Methods of Industrial Agricultural, <b>MIAs:</b> this double entendre is apropos because one of the major problems of MIAs is that vast numbers of complex organic compounds required by Life are not present in the chemical compounds used in lieu of natural nutrition.
All LIFE depends on consuming other LIFE. PERIOD.
This is the Nature of LIFE.
The lack of Big Agro understanding of this is the primary stumbling block of non-organic (dead, deadly) agriculture.
There is no way that the "global managers"* can overcome this limitation in their attempts to play "God".
* Noam Chomsky's terminology

<b>(4) Bio-fuel production</b> is an extremely questionable solution because mass production of Bio-fuel:
--- <b>(a)</b> diverts farm land away from vital Food production,
--- <b>(b)</b> requires Mono-crop production which is not ultimately sustainable and is more susceptible to Diseases and other catastrophes like Climate Disruption,
--- <b>(c)</b> takes Water away from food production and drinking water supplies,
--- <b>(d)</b> depletes the Fertility of the land due to lack of crop rotation and crop combinations ESP when other MIAs are also used,
--- <b>(e)</b> often requires De-Forestation, a major contributor to Climate Disruption and general Environmental Destruction of Life Support Systems already globally endangered,
--- <b>(f)</b> also requires Processing to fuel states and Transportation of the product to distribution sites, which have heavy CO2 footprints.

<b>(5) verboten:</b> German for "forbidden" = multiple entendres ...

<b>(6) allopathic:</b> the practice of treating SYMPTOMS, esp with drugs and/or surgery rather than working towards balancing systems in order to cure the real problems as in holistic practices.

<b>(7) Polarization:</b> The I Ching, AKA The Book of Changes identifies, clarifies and explains this kind of phenomena.


<b>CONCLUSION: </b>

In light of all of the above, we need to <b>RE-legalize Cannabis VERY carefully,</b> without loopholes for repression and exploitation thru monopolized MNC control.
We must ensure guarantees of the freedoms of individual choice we are working for in clear, easy to understand legislation wording -- legal conditions LIFE NEEDS in order to head back towards healthy, truly sustainable balances.
