About this Petition Pledge

Associated Oregon Industries, a non-profit organization in Oregon, is a business advocate that represents businesses in a variety of causes.  One of their current causes, according to their website, is : AOI and other business association partners are working on key legislation - HB 2497 - to ensure that Oregon employers are not required to accommodate medical marijuana use in the workplace.   AOI is actively working with legislators and potential committee chairs to gain support for the bill.
What they are trying to do is make it legal for companies to fire medical marijuana users even though medical marijuana was legalized in 1999.  There are many companies supporting AOI in their quest to pass this "key legislation" that is mentioned above.  They include:
