Gas chambers are used in Texas shelters to kill animals in the most inhumane way possible House Bill 3450 was introduced it would have stopped such a travesty! However despite a high volume of pleas through phone calls e-mail and letters Texas Rep Kolkhorst let it die thus condemning thousands of Texas shelter pets to die in such a horrific inhumane way. Texas is in a desperate need of shelter reform and while most politicians including the Houston mayor ran on shelter reform platform Houston opposed the measure that would offer hope to thousands of animals in Texas.
