About this Petition Pledge

I live in Missouri and fall is right around the corner which got me to thinking about the holidays. Love the holidays, hate the gift giving.... stressful, expensive, wasteful, and anti-climatic. In recent years I have begun making donations to nonprofits in the names of friends and family instead of giving them gifts (90% of which end up in the landfill by June anyway). You can get your holiday shopping done in 30 minutes and no need to wrap presents!

So, today I created a Fundraising Network on Change.org called "All I want for the holidays is a donation made to WildAid!":

I plan on sending around the link to family and friends letting them know that it is not necessary to give me a gift this year (I have everything I need and then some), but if they still want to give a gift, I will suggest that they make the donation through the Change.org Fundraising Network instead.
