The Canadian Seal hunt brutally kills hundreds of thousands of baby seals each year. Many of these seals are often less than 3 months old yet they face an unnatural and bloody death. They have their skulls bashed in, hooks forced into their eyes whilst they are dragged across the ice and are skinned alive. Certain so called 'fashion' chains think it perfectly acceptable to sell Seal fur as they can make huge profits from the fur. Designers including Gucci, Versace, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Annika Heinadottir, Birger Christensen, Petit Nord, The Odette Leblanc Collection all use or have used seal fur in their collections. 

While all seal imports have been banned in the European union, these desginers have many markets in Asia and the America's where they can legally get away with selling baby seal coats and skins. Please take a moment to sign this petition to tell these companies to start living in the 21st century otherwise they face further consumer boycotts against them.

It is truly shocking that your company thinks it is perfectly acceptable to use seal fur in your products.

Baby seals, often younger than 3 months old, can be skinned alive, bludgeoned to death, or can be dragged across the ice with sharp hooks in their eyes and left for hours to die an agonizing death.

All Seal fur imports have been banned in the European Union since 2009 and the markets for this cruel industry are dwindling rapidly. With such international outrage and over 500,000 petition signatures against the massacre of seals it is truly disgraceful that your companies sell or have sold seal products.

Many people already boycott companies such as your's because of your cruelty to animals. Please start living in the 21st century and open your eyes to the the nearly non-existent market for seal fur.

I urge you to drop all seal fur and other animal fur from your products as soon as possible to end the needless suffering of seals and other animals.
