After receiving letters from more than 1000 Change.org members, Barnes and Noble has removed the book "The Pimp Game" from their online marketplace, and agreed not to allow 3rd party vendors to sell the tome.
The Pimp Game is an instruction manual which provides detailed instructions on how to find, seduce, control, and sell women and girls, especially vulnerable teenagers -- which is child sex trafficking. It advocates for the use of violence and sexual assault as forms of coercive control to keep girls in prostitution. Barnes and Noble's decision not to sell a book which provides instructions for how to commit such a heinous crime is a strong indicator of their commitment to human rights and child protection.
The book The Pimp Game: An Instructional Guide is available for purchase through Barnes and Noble on Marketplace. This book details the effecitve ways to groom and train underage children for sexual exploitation. Please sign this petition to urge Barnes and Noble to not allow this book to be sold through Marketplace.
Ask Barnes and Noble to remove "The Pimp Game" from Marketplace.
Greetings,
I was made aware of the book "The Pimp Game: An Instructional Guide" through The National Report on Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking presented by Share Hope International. I was greatly disturbed with the content of this book and very disappointed it is currently available for purchase on Marketplace. This book promotes the sell of underage children to sexual exploitation. Please help make sure this book is no longer available through Marketplace, aiding efforts to stop the sell of underage children in our country. Thank you for helping with our efforts to stop child sex-trafficking.
