Why This Is Important

America's top pork producer churns out a sea of waste that has destroyed rivers, killed millions of fish and generated one of the largest fines in EPA history.

Welcome to the dark side of the other white meat.

This is just one example of what the meat industry hides from the consumer.  

Tell your representatives that this is unacceptable in the United States of America.  

Tell them that they need to regulate and monitor the meat industry more carefully.

Urge your representatives to do more than simply fine the meat industry for their lack of concern for animal welfare and the destruction of the environment. 

 

 

Additionally, tell your representatives that repeated violations of animal welfare and environmental destruction should result in a permanent shut down of their facilities.

This is just one example of what the meat industry hides from the consumer.

This behavior by the meat industry is unacceptable in the United States of America.

I urge you to regulate and monitor the meat industry more carefully.

I insist that more is done than simply issuing fines to the meat industry for their lack of concern for animal welfare and the destruction of the environment. Repeated violations of animal welfare and environmental destruction should translate in a permanent shut down of their facilities.
