The American Green Jobs Initiative is designed to promote sustainable green jobs nationwide. Working with cities across the nation, especially mayors, we hope to:

Provide education on clean and renewable energy Attract clean energy manufacturers and installers your city Provide workforce training to displaced workers in a high-growth industry Clean Tech is an emerging sector that comprises a diverse range of products, services, and processes that harnesses renewable materials and energy sources. These include such innovative and expanding technologies as solar photovoltaics (PV), wind power, hybrid electric vehicles, fuel cells, bio-based materials, and advanced water filtration.
