Lenny is a senior at Eaglecrest high school who has been expelled for unknowingly having a knife in his car. I believe a nearly 2 week suspension is enough punishment; this expulsion could cost him his diploma, and he wasn't allowed to take AP exams he paid for...Lenny deserves justice! Sign to help his expulsion get lifted, this punishment is too severe, especially since Lenny is not in any way a malicious person.

To whom it may concern:

This letter is meant to communicate our desire for the reconsideration of Leonard Torres’s expulsion. It is my opinion that this sentence exceeds the bounds of necessity for the offense committed and the repercussions it will have on the student in both financial and social natures. Mr. Torres is currently being denied access to Advanced Placement exams that he has paid for, as well as being denied the privilege of graduating from high school. As this is the first time any such offense has occurred, and the student’s character is hardly malicious, it is my hope that you will reconsider the case of Leonard Torres.
