Abolish greyhound racing in the state of Florida

Greetings,

I have made this petition in order to start the process of eliminating greyhound racing in florida. Greyhounds are being treated extremely cruely. People do not understand that by going to the dog tracks and betting money on these dogs they are really supporting the starvation, abandonment, and murder of these dogs. Greyhounds are used until they are no longer fast enough for their trainer, when that time comes tradgedy occurs for these innocent dogs. Help save the greyhounds by ending greyhound racing in the state of Florida which is home to thirty percent of these racing tracks in the United States.
