You Got Posted is a revenge porn site in which users upload nude photos of other people without their consent. There is currently no way for victims to remove their own photos from the website other than an email address with the disclaimers "Due to the high volume of mail we receive, we may not be able to respond to your inquiry immediately." and "Removal requests that are submitted without the appropriate documentation, or requesting the removal of entries not in violation of any state or federal law will NOT be reviewed or removed."

Needless to say, this site can destroy the reputations and lives of the victims who get posted. Many of the victims pages are directly linked to their Facebook pages, allowing strangers who see the photos to contact the victim directly with sexual intentions. Since the site has no age screening process, it is easy for photos of underage teens to be submitted and viewed publicly.

The United States considers sexual violations, especially against children, to be among the most heinous crimes. Yet, You Got Posted continues to allow users to upload nude photos of others without consent on a daily basis.

Please sign my petition and and give these sexually exploited victims a way to remove their photos from this site.

Today we filed a police report at the Chesterfield Police Station in Michigan. The police now have the website URL and email address. They will attempt to contact the site about removing my friends photos. We also provided information about a suspect who may have posted the pictures.

In a world filling up with forward thinkers and good, educated people, we deserve better for ourselves than to invent a new way to sexually assault anyone, especially someone who once meant something to us.
