WE DEMAND AN ANIMALFRIENDLY STRAYDOGPOLICY IN THE EU !

    1. Petition by

      SOS BONNIE

This is what you can read on the website europa.eu :
The European Union is a unique economic and political partnership between 27 European countries. It has deliverd half a century of peace, stability, prosperity and helped raise livin standars. The EU actively promotes human rights and democracy.

Well it is about time that the EU starts actively promoting the animalrights ! The EU can’t allow lands such as Romania and Bulgaria to enter the EU while still treating the straydogs in a medieval way and alow people to kill them or torture them or that people who feed them are being attacked aswell, etc.
THERE MUST BE TAKEN ACTION URGENTLY, EU BEARS THIS RESPONSIBILITY AND MUST REPREMAND THESE COUNTRIES !

These counties refuge every help they are offered from organisations who want to help with the straydogproblem.
They think that massive slaughters are the solution but unfortunately dogs keep coming back.
There is only one good solution possible with a longtermeffect : TRAP – NEUTER – RETURN .
Catching them and putting them into shelters for the rest of their lives is NOT the solution ! It is not animalfriendly at all !
MASSIVE SLAUGHTERS SHOULD BE STOPPED ! ! !

EU SHOULD CLOSELY WATCH THOSE COUNTRIES TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM ! !

DE MASSAMOORDEN MOETEN STOPPEN ! ! !

DE EU MOET DEZE LANDEN NAUWKEURIG OPVOLGEN EN ERVOOR ZORGEN DAT HET PROBLEEM VAN DE STRAATHONDEN OPGELOST GERAAKT OP EEN DIERVRIENDELIJKE MANIER !

Both PETA and other animal welfare charities together with footballers and millions of citizens have been trying to stop this brutal slaughter. PETA's statement is related below:

Did you know that in Ukraine, a dog or cat found wandering the streets can be shot on sight or poisoned and left to suffer? Their bodies are tossed into a cremation truck and burned, and some are reportedly burned while alive. It is estimated that in the city of Kiev alone, 20,000 dogs have already been killed in these cruel ways.

Ukrainian authorities are trying to "cleanse" the country of homeless animals before it hosts the European Football Championship in 2012. At a preliminary match between Germany and Ukraine in Kiev last weekend, members of PETA Germany and the Kiev Society for the Protection of Animals protested, calling on Ukrainian authorities to stop the cruel killings and asking the Union of European Football Associations to get involved.

this is one of the most cruel and without any rational explanation, procedures that can be inflicted in harmless creatures that cannot defend themselves. I advocate that not a single human tourist or whatever set foot on Ukrania because of this horrifying campaing.
