Martine Flagstad: Marte Dalelv was pardoned and released!! She can come back home to Norway whenever she likes! :)

Marte Deborah Dalelv (24) was on a work trip to Dubai with her colleagues the 6th of March. A male colleague followed her back to her hotel room but instead pulled her in by force to his room where she lost conciousness. She awoke during the rape, laying on her stomach, naked.
Two hours later she reported it at the nearest police station.
The respond she got from the police was simply: "Did you come to us because you didn't like it?".

She is now convicted for sex outside marriage and for being under influence of alcohol. She was put on a cell with 13 degrees celcius, for 4 days and nights - 2 of them without any water. Her passport is taken away from her, so she can't come back home.

Help us try get this young woman back to her home and family!

To:
Dubai, Dubai Government
Give Marte Deborah Dalelv back her passport so she can come home to Norway.

Sincerely,
[Your name]

The company the girl worked for and was fired by, closed down their Facebook page after a massive wave of hate mail. For now, this is our hope that our voices can put a pressure on injustice, and we will keep fighting for Marte Deborah Dalelv!

Outraged that the victim is treated as a criminal!

Gross violation of human rights in the continuing patriarchal exercise of control over women through legislating their sexuality. I live in Egypt and have family in Kuwait and Dubai.

This is an affront to Islam and all of its teachings.

Unacceptable. These men who have charged her and put her in jail are not only violating her human rights but holding her as a political prisoner of Sharia Law's war on women. These monsters will not stop until the world stops them. The rapist knew what he was doing and how unprotected she was in this country. The company that fired her needs to be brought to justice as well.

I'm an American, and just read about this on CNN. This is an absolute outrage. In what world can you be punished simply for reporting a rape?
