Raise the payrate for hourly associates and make scheduling more predictive

The outcome of this petition is very important because all of us that work as hourly associates at Walmart know that we are under paid for the hard work we perform and that it causes us finanial instability. As a Walmart hourly associate you can also understand that the differential in weekly scheduling provides for almost no planning for an "at home" life or the ability to obtain a second employment to even out your financial instability. - If you agree or if you know someone that is an hourly associate at Walmart please sign this petition to help make a differance at Walmart. Thank you!

      Greetings,

On the first day of this petition it received 49 signatures - which is a great start! We have a goal of 10,000 signatures in 30 days and the only way that we can meet this goal is if we all pull together and "advertise" it to our friends, family and co-workers. Please take a moment to join me in sharing the link below with all of your email contacts and Facebook/social networking friends. Thank you all for your support and God Bless you!

We all work our butts off for Wal-mart, and deserve to paid more than what we are, especially the overnight shift.

I once worked 5 yrars for Wal Mart and was under paid and over worked. Loved my job and was forced to quit because mother past away and I had to care for little brother who had downs syndrome. He past 1 month and 5 days after my mother and I asked for my job back at Wal Mart. I was a Dept. Manager when I quit and was told if I wanted to come back to my job I would have to take a pay cut. I didn't even make $8.00 when I quit so I wasn't going to take a pay cut and do the same job. I could see being asked to take a pay cut if I had quit my job for no reason but come on I quit to care for a loved one whom could not care for himself.

When I switched from midnights to day shift I went from full time to part time and realized it would take 3 years to make the $1 back an hour that I was losing
