We live in a neghborhood abutting the park and I do not want to see what Wal Mart would bring to Blanco Rd, i.e., increased traffic, 18-wheelers, 24-hr lights, clear cutting of trees, etc.

THERE ARE ENOUGH WALMARTS IN THE AREA CLOSE BY. BUILDING ONE AT THIS LOCATION WILL DESTROY WHAT A PARK ATMOSPHERE IS ALL ABOUT. WE DON'T NEED ANOTHER ASPHALT PARKING LOT NEXT TO SUCH A BEAUTIFUL WILDLIFE AND PEOPLE PRESERVE.

Walmart does not add to the value of my nearby residential property in Inwood. An awesome city park does add value. Please don't spoil it..

I teach in this area and the park is a place where many of my students and their families get exercise, spend quality time together, and have gatherings with friends. They do this as opposed to sitting inside playing video games and choosing computerized entertainment. Building a Wal-Mart in this vicinity would be a travesty!

There are plenty of Wal-Mart stores within a few miles of this location......we don't need another. Especially so close to this beautiful park.
