Stop all plans for construction in Battle Ground, Washington

A Walmart in Battle Ground would mean a blow to the small businesses that make us unique, would create more traffic in an already difficult area, is unnecessary in a town with four supermarkets, and contests with the “old town” charm people move here to embrace. Please sign this petition to put an end to the ridiculous idea of building a 150,000-sqare-foot retail monster near the intersection of Southwest Scotton Way and SR-503 in Battle Ground!

We don't want a Walmart here! It would be a severe blow to small, local business owners. Me, my family & friends frequent local businesses and it means so much to us. Keep Walmart out - its not worth saving a few cents on paper towels!!!

Battle Ground does not need the economics that a Wal Mart would bring!

Our family owns the Brush Prairie General Store, I strongly believe that if Walmart were to come in it would only hurt the local community. I have lived here all my life and would hate to see anything bad happen to this place I love.

This is going to make the traffic at Eaton and 122nd just miserable. The morning commute takes long enough already.
