Please imagine yourself in Mikhail Sebastian's position and exercise more compassion and fairness to stateless individuals. Rules are meant to be changed for the better.

Mr. Sebastian has been an outstanding and legal resident of the US for some time. He arrived in this country as a refuge from Armenia in the 1990s, and has worked and lived legally since 2003.

Since American Samoa is part of a territory of the US, the US is still responsible for dealing with his situation.

He is currently costing either the US government or a local government that is existing in US territory money, and this will continue to be an expense until the situation has a resolution otherwise.

Since he has been a contributing member of US society for the past 10 years, it is in the best interest of everyone to allow him safe and legal return to the US.

Every human being has the right to be a citizen on the land to which they were born. The fact that this is denied to groups of people through out the world is evidence of violations of the declaration of human rights signed by the countries that make up the governing body of Nato, of which the US is apart. This is a form of ethnic cleansing and is demonstrative of intolerance of race and or religion and should be considered intolerable by those countries who comprise NATO. If a person is denied the right to the land on which they were born, then they should be allowed to choose which country under NATO to take their citizenship. Please grant Mikhail his return to the United States of which he has lived for over 16 years. Thank You
