The epidemic of missing persons and unclaimed bodies in our country is a disgrace. Fewer than SEVEN percent of law enforcement agencies presently use a NATIONAL DATABASE - designed to help identify the unidentified, and catalog the missing. Law enforcement works with families to create rich profiles of both the missing and unidentified to help put the two groups together. Please, help by supporting BILLY'S LAW: a law started by Janice Smolinski, mother of Billy Smolinksi. Call your local representative and ask them to support it. Why do *I* care? I have a sister who has been missing since 11/30/1980. (google Still looking for Judy) This system may have brought her back to us 30 years ago. Be a part of supporting Billy's Law - it may help you or someone you love.

Because my mother has been missing since 1990. A Jane Doe that could possibly be my mother was listed in NAMUS in 2009 and I just wish NAMUS was around when the body was initially found.
