US Congress: STOP the passing of the $140,000 price cap for Hope Scholarship

Many families who make over $140,000 have a large amount of bills already because of having multiple children. A large income doesn't mean that they can afford whatever they want. It means that they're fortunate enough to make enough to support their families. The scholarship should still be awarded based off merit. Don't let the government continue to decrease the value of hard work.

unfair, again middle class is punished. What about the consideration of how many children you have. $140k might be ok if you have one $100k loan, but think about 2!

Do not punish the hard working middle class! This should be based on merit. There are plenty of grants!!
