Victory

From Petition Creator Victoria Kuper: In a situation like this there are no winners. This person COULD HAVE moved on, met and married someone else. Instead he saw me as his property and when he couldn't force his way into my life he attempted to ruin it. In the process he has gotten himself sent to prison. His defiant attitude continues and he shows no remorse. When he went to prison I commented that now all of his victims are getting a break, and there are many. I didn't win anything by doing this petition or appearing in front of the Board of Parole. It's just too bad he doesn't "get" life and certain family members continue to be in denial about the root of his issues, in spite of the fact that they have been victimized by him also. They have had issues with him throughout his life yet they blame his victims.

It is a matter of life and death for my family of 7. He has relentlessly stalked my family since 2008, and is incarcerated serving a total of 21 years. His counselors and prison officials feel he is rehabilitated after serving only 2 years of hard time in prison, and they are asking for his release. He was convicted of his 5th stalking charge in October 2011 and perjury in April of 2012. My family members are his victims and we have had no break from his pursuit of us. Releasing him right now would put my family in grave danger, as he is rated at the highest risk to re-offend.

I am releived to report that the Board of Parole denied his parole today. We now have a year to hopefully sell our home. We would like to move to the area where my husband was raised. Once again a huge thank you for all of the well wishes for our family. Your support has been heartwarming and I have renewed hope for this crazy mixed up world we live in.

Thank you all so much for signing and the comments. Support is hard to come by and I get emotional reading your thoughts. Support like this builds strength to help us through. You would be shocked at some of the insensitive things that have been said to me throughout this ordeal, and by people that should know better. This is truly a serious situation and I am shocked to be dealing with this so soon. I will post an update after Thursday's hearing.

This monster is at the highest rate to re-offend, why should this family have to spend even one day fearing for thier life. It would be a injustice to release this predator. He needs to stay locked up before he harms this family. No one should have to live feeling threatened and alarmed. Please keep this unfit person out of society, and out of this families life. Thank you.
