      The full email is available in the Facebook group; character limits on this website prevent me from being able to reproduce it, but the gist is that the trees are saved, and construction will not begin until after commencement exercises this year.

      I'm a 4th year due to graduate in may and without the magnolias the rotunda just will not look that same on graduation day when I go to walk the lawn

      Part of the eternal beauty of the Rotunda and the Academical Village is the nature that surrounds it. I can remember many times in my tenure at UVA heading to those trees for comfort.
