Stop Development of Film "Boys Are Stupid, Throw Rocks At Them!"

    1. Petition by

      Lee Miller

      Jacksonville, FL

Can you imagine a film called "Girls Are Stupid, Stone Them"? Todd Goldman, unscrupulous author of "Boys Are Stupid, Throw Rocks At Them" has already made millions from sales of T-shirts and books with hateful messages. This movie will only normalize violence and further inflame gender hostilities. If "Boys" were substituted with any other group, this project would be deemed unacceptable. Please take a stand with me. Let's send a message to NBCUniversal/Universal Pictures that there will be financial consequences if this film goes into production. We deserve better. Our children deserve better.

Its sexist, it involves violence against children, and its simply beneath my expectations of a movie studio celebrating its 100 th year anniversary.

Why would anyone have to give a reason for this. Denigrating and inciting violence towards anyone is wrong!

We need to start taking violence against men and boys, who are far and away the main victims of violence, seriously. I hope that some boy, when attacked, will sue Universal Pictures for millions of dollars because of their inciting attacks against boys.

I don't necessarily find the slogan offensive, though I am disappointed that such double-standards exist and that violence against males is largely ignored when compared to the same against the opposite sex.

For equality within the sexes. It seems that, right now in everyday life, that girls/women are more equal than men and feminists now-a-days are pro-women, not pro-equality. Here's to equality.
