allow hemp production in the united states

    1. Petition by

this would allow for domestic economic growth.hemp is an extremely valuable resource. it can be used to produce thousands of things from food, to plastics or even fuel oil. hemp used to create jobs in over 40,000 industries before its demonization in the 1930's.
the united states D.E.A. sets the stage for the way hemp is handled and it is currently not tolerated on a federal level. it is important for the future of our planet that we use this resource.

I am signing this petition because legalizing the production of hemp would create so many needed jobs, it is a valuable resourse, and it doesn't intoxicate. So, in essance it is a win-win-win. Not to mention the revenue it would generate.
