Revoke the Congressional Charter of the Boy Scouts of America

A Congressional charter provides "...an 'official' imprimatur to their activities, and to that extent it may provide them prestige and indirect financial benefit...". Based on the recent "emphatic re-affirmation" of the Boy Scout's exclusion of gays in their organization, the Boy Scouts of America do not deserve this recognition by our government.

I am a former scout and a current scout leader and I agree with rejecting the BSA's Anti-gay and anti atheist policies.

Because the Boy Scouts are wrong about this, and closed minded and petty. Our society should be against crimes against children, and those persons who perpetrate them, and not against law abiding adults.
