We the undersigned, as family and an extened peer community, support and join Bradley Scott Adkins in respectfully petitioning the office of the Attorney General of the United States to open an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the improper federal prosecution of Bradley Scott Adkins subsequent to his having been promised blanket immunity from such prosecution by State and Federal authorities in the States of Louisianna and Alabama--and after having fulfilled his obligations to the government. We further join Mr. Adkins in requesting of the United States Attorney General to intervene on Mr. Adkins behalf by reducing the 320-month federal sentence he is currently surving in such a manner that it is consistant with the basic tentantsof fundamental fairness and integrity of the criminal justice system that we expect from our representative government.

HOW can we teach our children ,our grandchildren to be a good citizen , to be a part of making our country a strong and just country doing unto others as you would have them do unto you, making our land a place that they would have pride in and want to raise their family's in. But how can we teach these things to our children and grandchildren when we are being proved that what we try and teach them is not right. We try to teach them pride in our country , honesty and justice for all, not Lies and unfairness, our future children are losing faith in our justice system just by things of this nature, your punishment is way to harsh when rapist and thieves receive less of a punishment, and what about keeping your word sense he complied and did what he was ask to do. We need to know we can still trust our judicial system,PLEASE RECONSIDER this mans length of punishment , it will effect many lives !

I'm concerned that enforcing minimum sentencing for first time drug offenders is missing the true intent of the law. First time offenders are low on the totem pile of who impacts the safety of our community. Sentencing a first time offender to 10-20 years is frankly too much. There are many other crimes more heinous that don't have this stuff of a consequence. Please allow first time offenders the chance to right a wrong..not create an adulthood confined with hardened criminals in prison.
