Ni ddylai'r Eglwys yng Nghymru cael eu gwahardd yn gyfreithiol  i berfformio priodasau rhwng cyplau o’r un rhyw, ond cael eu trin fel unrhyw enwad Cristnogol arall. Mae'r gwaharddiad yn cyfyngu ar ryddid yr Eglwys yng Nghymru fel enwad dadsefydliedig. Ni ddylai llywodraeth Prydain ymyrryd yn hawliau yr Eglwys yng Nghymru fel hyn.

The Church in Wales should not be subject to an automatic legal ban in performing same sex marriages, but be treated like any other Christian denomination. The legal ban curtails the freedom of the Church in Wales as a disestablished and autonomous Christian denomination. The government should not be interfering in the governance of the Church in Wales.

To:
UK Government, Rt Hon Maria Miller Equalities Minister
Please remove the automatic ban on the Church in Wales in solemnising same sex marriages. We would like the Church in Wales to be treated like other Christian denominations in being able to opt in or out of the legislation. The Government should not be interfering in the governance of the Church in Wales as a disestablished Church.

Sincerely,
[Your name]

Because i am gay and still growing up so by the time i want to get married i would really like it to be legal all over the world. Gay rights mean a lot to me and without the help of my friends i dont think i would have been able to get where i am.

I am a Welshman living in the US. Parliament should have no say in the running of the Church in Wales. It is not a state sponsored religion.

Decisions are made for the people. If the most relevant people can decide for themselves and can get a decent system going, a minister's job is done. Go home and have a beer or something.

Dylid trin yr Eglwys yng Nghymru yn yr un modd ac y mae'r enwadau eraill yn cael ei drin. Nid Eglwys y wladwriaeth mo'r Eglwys yng Nghymru ond eglwys sydd a'r un hawliau a statws a phob enwad arall.

The Church in Wales is disestablished and so should be treated as such.
