For decades we were able to defend this Country with about $200 - $300 billion per year. Recently the defense budget has nearly tripled to $800 billion per year, over $2 billion of our tax dollars a day! If any Congressman opposes this idea it only proves the research of Project Censored that nearly every Congressman is invested in war.

Congress wants to cut funds that help the middle class, seniors and the poor, but won't cut the out of control defense spending. This is absurb.

We spend more per year on military, than the next top 5 spending countries COMBINED!!! There's no way we need to spend THAT much! Keep the benefits for veterans, but we don't need anywhere near as much of the rest as is being spent. Anti-nuke missiles instead of nukes. Defense not offense. It would instantly fix the economy! Let's do it!

We spend way too much on our military. Think of how money for defense could be used for necessary social programs.
