Tony Nicklinson's right to die

Change the law

    1. Jane Nicklinson
    2. Petition by

      Jane Nicklinson

      Melksham, United Kingdom

We, the undersigned Petitioners supported Tony Nicklinson's wish to die with dignity by seeking help from a doctor to take the final steps to end Tony's life because he could not end his life without help due to the extent of his disabilities. Now that he is no longer fighting for this we continue to support anyone who finds themselves in a similar position to Tony.

We also support a change in the law to this effect.

We need to treat humans at least as good as we treat our pets!

I truly cannot understand how we can let fellow humans die such slow, painful deaths. They must be given the right to choose.

Everyone should be able to decide when they want to die- I believe that, as long as there is a legitimate reason for doing so, everyone can request to die with dignity.
