Save HMS Plymouth currently abandoned at Liverpool from the scrapyard

    1. Petition by

      Lancashire Titanic Museum

HMS PLYMOUTH is the last surviving Royal Navy Warship, which took part in the Falklands War. The surrender or Argentine forces at South Georgia was signed in her wardroom. She is the last of her kind, a proud ship, with a distinguished history. We call on the British Government to step in and halt the proposed scrapping of this magnificent ship and save her for the nation as a fitting tribute to all those soldiers, sailors & airmen who gave their lives in that and other conflicts.

My workshop is on the docks where the ship is kept. Peel have no plans for the quayside for the forseeable future - why can't she be lifted out of the dock & volunteers given access to work on her? Answer - because Peel are greedy ****'s, they've effectively stolen her & want the money for scrapping her.
