---The following petition will affect nearly every American citizen---
The FDA has recently announced that China will be allowed to import and process Chicken for consumption by U.S. Citizens, and will NOT be required to label the food containing the chicken.
China has a well documented track record for distributing harmful and even deadly products that have been consumed by humans and pets. If chicken and other foods are in the U.S. food supply, these products should be labeled so that consumers can be educated about the products they are buying.
This petition will be forwarded to the Department of Health and Human Services, the FDA and to my U.S. Representative Congressmen Mike Rogers in order to have a bill drafted and sponsored, and eventually passed into law.
***YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE*** Please help by sharing this petition on social media sites, in the comment section of related news articles, and/or most importantly contacting your congressmen and asking them to sponsor a bill requiring the labeling of imported Chinese food.

I am a Small Scale Poultry Farmer in Massachusetts, and I refuse to let this country eat food that takes days to reach us, days to process, and days to reach the consumer on the other end of the country. We need to keep food local!

I don't trust the Chinese to provide quality food products. History has proven otherwise.

Because the Chinese do not care to "regulate" the safety of food for their own people is no reason their corruption and contaminated often toxic foods should be "foisted" on the rest of the world, unknowingly.

I eat and I my pets eat. It's as simple as that.
