Make sure to watch the film above!  Haiti is currently host to the world's largest cholera epidemic with over 500,000 people infected and over 7000 dead since 2010. The disease was introduced by a battalion of Nepalese peacekeepers and while it may have been inadvertent, the UN denies responsibility. With the disease continuing to spread it's vital that the UN takes responsibility and allocates a significant portion of it's (800 Million Dollar) annual Haiti operation budget towards developing better water / sanitation infrastructure and treatment schemes to combat cholera in Haiti.

This is a no-brainer. If you break something, then fix it. The UN introduced cholera - they need to fix the problem. Vaccines for everybody, clean water for everybody, medical treatment for those who get sick, and reparations for those who died. I've been to Haiti 3 times since the earthquake, and see UN personnel mostly just sit around all day, drawing salaries 100x greater than locals.

I have seen the pipe where sewage from the UN camp was poured just into the street and water. It is a disgrace that an organization so rich in fees and resources as is the UN, that it cannot at the very least take responsibility for any misadventures under their watch. Is that not just simply what we thought the UN stood for? They must be pressured.

It is imperative that the UN act responsibly as well as take responsibility. Otherwise it completely undermines its credibility. I have seen the sewage come out of the UN compound with my own eyes..... if it was any other organization it would have been immediately considered criminal.
