The History channel implies that it is an educational channel. Therefore, it has a responsibility to provide educational programming rather than speculation, conspiracy theories and reality television.

because everyday and night is nothing but repeats then the repeats are played again for days and days and whats worse is the only thing history about it is the fact that they played the same thing an hour prior

Alright, I tried to write something nice and constructive, but I just can't bring myself to. So I'm just gonna troll a little. I think the employees in charge of History Channel's programming should be ashamed of themselves. You've turned an informative and inspiring tv channel into a shit factory for the masses. You're not just clogging my tv with worthless stuff I don't want to watch, you're encouraging a trend in entertainment that is, frankly, kind of dangerous. When I was I kid, I watched old documentaries on the history channel that educated me beyond my years and inspired me to learn on my own. To think that my children will some day turn to the same channel and watch worthless reality tv is really depressing. Don't kid yourself by making up some bullshit about how this is educational. You know its not. Even worse, some of your programming miseducates. Ancient Aliens might be a funny show to watch on another channel, but airing it as the "history" channel is just fucking irresponsible. Wake up.

because I believe that there is more than enough reality tv that is dumbing down our society. I believe we need more factual and educational programming to combat it.
