Please address clay county caucus that has disenfrachised republicans

This is an important issue for the republican party and the state of Missouri. The presidential caucus in Clay County on March 17th was a major success in that over 600 Republicans were in attendance to participate in this presidential election cycle. However, all clay county residents were disenfranchised as delegates were not even identified and republican attendees did not have the opportunity to even vote for their candidate's slates. Instead, a "unity slate" was suggested by the local committee and motions to challenge it were ignored. Voters were organized by district and motions to vote by county were denied despite recent changes to the district boundary lines. Motions followed Roberts rules of order yet were not honored throughout by chairman Ben Wierzbicki. As a first time caucus attendee and a newcomer to the Republican party I was very disappointed. Please consider this video as part of the evidence and respond to this petition by calling for a new Clay County Caucus that will be run in a more proper manner.

I joined this republican party to have a voice in America's future; please ensure that the people of clay county will be heard.

It was a travesty. Mr Wierzbicki disregarded motions with seconds and just said,"Moving on..." He ignored the people when they told him there was double counting during votes. He did not follow Robert's Rules and never let any participants speak abut their candidates. He stated at the beginning of the meeting he would be fair. He was anything but fair. Very disappointing!

It was a repeat of 2008, but worse. Mr Wierzbicki should step down. I hope you saw the youtubes and the TV coverage of him screaming at the people. He is not chairman material! Thank you for your consideration. Linda Powell~5th District

Are we still a nation of laws, or are we a nation of powerful people who can flout the laws with impunity? It's in your hands now.

Reconvene the caucus and send information on caucus rules to the local Sheriff. By their very actions, it demonstrates a lack of understanding of the very underpinnings of our government. Ignorance is no excuse - police men/departments are held to a higher standard! The police officers who did this must be held accountable.
