WE The residents of Florida want to keep The summer daylight savings in effect. Watching the sun set last night was beautiful and watching it rise even more so. This brings me to an important question, wouldn't it be nice if in October it did not get dark at 5 or 6 but rather 7? This is Florida we are relatively close to the equator so we don't have the longer dark periods that are in the north. Arizona and the islands do not live by daylight savings would this time be nice all year round ? In addition our "season" when all the vsitors and tourists arrive is in the winter and fall , this is the sunshine state . Why do all the tourists have to shuffle in the darkness at 5 or 6 pm , think of all the extra activities and revenue That could be added to our wonderful tropical paradise , of they wanted dark winter weather they can stay home put and end to the Fall Back its a win win and HAPPY people !!!!
Sun up around 6 sun down around 7 ...does the sun really need to rise at 5 and set at 6? I think it would be nice to keep this balmy summer time system in place all year round... It's just perfect the way nature intended right now. This biggest argument is kids and school buses , as it stands the sun is rising around 6 am , I don't know many kids who are waiting for a bus at 5 , I do knowin the fall when the time goes back many kids are still out and about at school activities around 5 or 6 and dusk can be more dangerous then dawn for kids heading home . There is NO purpose to the fall back in Florida . END IT NOW!!!!
