Please Don't Sign Release For Don Barker; Convicted Killer

      Fresno, CA

Based on a 2008 law that uses a new method for determining whether to grant parole. the BPH granted last month, he awaits the Gov signature, like many others that are set to be out in our society.

Don Barker took the life of Lisa Means, 38 yr old Registered Nurse and Mother of four, in cold blood with a shotgun and a handgun only to lock her in her bedroom to die while he flees. Simply because she wanted a divorce, he didn't even call 911.

Story in The Fresno Bee by Pablo Lopez:

WE are  her voice and we are yelling to the top of our lungs

"Don't release a killer into this society.  MURDER.....COLD BLOODED MURDER.....would you want him in your home or your kids to be with him? Governor Please don't sign"

He killed someone he doesn't deserve to get out.Not even a legitimate reason to kill her, she wanted a divorce , that's her right. I dont want him out in my state so he can kill again. Judges put people in jail, leave them there. Dont disrespect the judge!

It is imperative that the law is upheld when Justice was meted out the first time at sentencing otherwise it is a slap in the face to every police officer and prosecuting attorney, Every law enforcement person that fought to do their job and catch the criminal. It is unrealistic that any state official could even possibly consider a release for criminals who have proven that they will not ever be a safe neighbor to anyone. Do what you say your going to do by keeping these murders behind bars. It sends a terrible message to the public if you release him. All criminals will think you will let them off too so what difference does it make if they commit a horrible crime, the Governor will just let them out.

No community is safe with murders set free...Governor Why not move him in next door to you?

This story is really messed no mother deserves to die over a divorce. She was also a nurse. My mother is a child of 5 and is also a nurse. My parents are also going through a divorce if this were to happen to my mother or father i would not want the monster o get t. God bless there family.
