Thank You Mayor Bianchi!!!!! 10 year extension granted by the Pittsfield Conservation Commission last night! Thank you Pittsfield City Counsel for the unanimous support! & Thank you Pittsfield Conservation Commission for your 7 votes! And thank you for only 1 nay (with his own opinion)! ♥♥♥

Please join us in helping to keep Berkshire Flower Co., a family-owned, single-mother-run, 25-year local business, from becoming an unnecessary "greenway" into the town of Pittsfield, MA.

Let's stop the elimination of a thriving business in our community!  Especially during these current economic times, it is not necessary, nor does it make sense to terminate a business for a green strip leading into the town. This arrangement was made many years ago with provisions to be amended. We could change this situation...with your help!

Greenways are fine when they don't negatively impact a small locally owned business. Creation of a greenway should take place where there is no thriving business.

Seriously......a greenway in Pittsfield when you are surrounded by the Berkshire mountains and plenty of purple mountain majesty. An established business that is beloved and supported throughout the community and family run should have the highest consideration to remain as such. You can be green without being mean.
