The Tea Bagger Personhood bill will affect more than just ruling conception at birth, it will affect In Vitro fertilization, IUD, Most of today's birth control meds, End of life decisions (do not resuscitate orders), transplants, women's right to work (harmful to the fetus to work according to personhood bill). Why does the Tea Party want to take away food stamps, medical care, schools, any type of support option, the "get the baby here, but let it starve because we really don't give a damn" attitude.

Giving personhood to fetus will place the womens life at risk in many circumstances. I am in hospital healthcare and tubal pregnancy is just one of many examples. It dramatically complicates and criminalizes a deceision tht should be between the women and her physician based on the best pateint care outcome. Please stop this insanity. Women are being treated as nothing more than an incubator for a human egg to develop. Which once this egg develops into a unwanted, unplanned unaffordable child, the same conservatives that bring us these bills, then have absolutley no interest or belief that they have a responibility to finacially support and nuture these children. There are 1.6 million children homeless in America with current estimates and of thoses, 45% are 6 years of age or younger.

I'm a twenty-two year old woman. I'm a person. My partner is a person. A cluster of cells formed from the meeting of sperm and ovum? Not a person. The far-reaching implications of fetus personhood laws are ridiculous and disgusting. Women are full citizens with the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Women are not baby-making incubators.

The idea of when life begins is nothing more than a matter of opinion. Making legislation based on such subjective opinions is wrong, particularly when the reasoning has religious roots.

Roe vs. Wade is the law of the land. State governments have NO BUSINESS WHATSOEVER trying to deny women their rights of reproductive choice. Let women and their doctors decide what is best for them and their families. STAY OUT OF OUR BODIES AND OUR BEDROOMS!
