It is unfair to portray ill people in this way. You wouldn't portray someone with cancer as a Halloween costume, and some mental health problems have higher death rates than some cancers. Mental Health Patients are people too.

Would they portray people with the flu this way? No. So don't do it to those with mental illnesses.

i dint know who they are trying to reach with this advert, certainly not the people who know about mental health but people who make sweeping statements concieved from ignorance, fear, or to detract from their own mental health problems. ignorance is the biggest mental health issue in this country

it further stigmatises people with mental health issues, it adds a sense of the bizzare which reinforces some peoples atitude to the problems which has its roots in ignorance

A Hannibal lecter mask is fine. paired with mental hospital uniform implies people with mental illnesses are equally dangerous as cannibals. did they not run this by a focus group or anything?
