Get rid of Common Core Standards

It will get rid of the transition to Common Core that changes the way students have been taught for most of their lives, and they way teachers have taught for most of their careers. This transition also makes the student's educational standards harder to understand for parents making them unable to help their children to learn.

Because I think it's not neccessary. I have one child that can't understand it and another that barely made through High School because of it! I don't know it and couldn't help....

This cause is important to me as my little sister, who is entering High School, was directly impacted by Common Core. Her middle school was selected as a pilot school for the program, Luther Burbank Middle School, and not only was she a test dummy for this program-her GPA and grades depended on these exams administered. Our children are not your gunaei pigs.

Parents are having trouble learning the new method, and it is hard on the children. What we need is to go back to teaching methods from my mother's generation. No calculators. We need to really learn the math. There's a reason young adults can't make change in their heads these days. The CC isn't helping anyone.
