I am keeping this simple! Toysrus is a wonderful amazing family store and that is all the more reason why they should NOT be open on Thanksgiving! This is a day to spend with family and loved ones.

By opening up at 9pm just seems wrong and lacking compassion for their store employees.

Lets bring back and support real family value's! Please sign if you agree.

Thank you Anthony Hardwick for the inspiration! You are awesome! (Target petition going strong)!

Thanksgiving is one of two sacred holidays left for time with family. Why is it necessary, given extended hours and amazing sales offered throughout the season, to separate families all in the name of the "almighty" dollar?? This is a sad commentary on what Toysrus values, and my family and I will not be participating in the extended hours event on Black Friday.

I bought toys here for my children when they were younger. I would hate to think that a family centric/non-material goods holiday would be cut short for employees of ToysRus, so people can begin their holiday shopping a few hours earlier.

Toys R Us makes it's money off the children of America. Shame on you, Toys R Us, you should be supporting of this all American Holiday, by helping to keep families and loved ones together, not encouraging the loss of family time.

In this era of great economic stress and global disasters, children more than ever need the support of families, not having what time parents can find with them broken up by corporate greed.

Parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, brothers and sisters will find time to buy those toys for the children. But lost holiday time with children can never be regained.

Thanksgiving is quickly becoming obliterated. Why not call it what it what is becoming? "Black Friday holiday" ! True American greed & worship of only the dollar- what a horrible reflection of our society!

Come on!!! If all these items are available online why are they opening on TG? I know the execs want money but show SOME respect. Are they paying their employees any sort of extra compenstion for working on the holiday??
